Instructions for authors
The preferred format for presentations is PowerPoint (ppt or pptx). Provide your presentation on a memory stick in the break before your section at the latest (preferred during registration). The time for a presentation is limited to 15 min including discussion; we recommend to use 10 min for the talk and 5 min for discussion.
Posters should have a maximum size in DIN A0 format (1189 mm height, 841 mm width) and should be prepared to clearly display the purpose, methods, results and conclusions. The poster should include the title and authors' names (presenting author underlined) in the same order as in the abstract submitted for the proceedings. Lettering should be large enough to be viewed from 1.2 m distance. Each poster will be assigned a predetermined location. Posters will need to be attended by their presenters during the poster sessions, mentioned in the program, to answer questions of participants. We suggest that you bring a limited number of reprints of your poster and of your business card which you could leave at your poster board when you are not present.
Materials for the attachment of posters to poster walls will be provided.
Two posters will be selected for the Best Poster Prize.
Springer will donate poster prizes (2 book vouchers for € 200).
The prize recognizes high quality research presented in poster format. Prizes will be presented to the presenting authors at the awards ceremony during the banquet at Lubostroń Palace.
